Deputy PM for Economic Affairs, Mullah Abdul Ghani Beradar Akhund, expresses his deepest sorrow over the loss of lives caused by last night's earthquake in Paktika, Khost and some other provinces. May Allah grant Paradise to the martyrs, patience to their relatives and speedy recovery to the wounded.

The Deputy PM for Economic Affairs, who also heads the Disaster Management Commission, has ordered all concerned agencies to rush to the spot immediately. Use all available resources to save the lives of the affected people and provide all necessary assistance.
