Message of Condolence from Hajji Mullah Abdul Ghani Beradar Akhund On the occasion of Maulana Mujib Ur Rahman Ansari's martyrdom

"مِّنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ رِجَالٌ صَدَقُوا مَا عَاهَدُوا اللَّهَ عَلَيْهِ ۖ فَمِنْهُم مَّن قَضَىٰ نَحْبَهُ وَمِنْهُم مَّن يَنتَظِرُ ۖ وَمَا بَدَّلُوا تَبْدِيلًا" (Surah Al-Ahzab: 23)

With great sadness, I received the news that Maulana Mujib Ur Rahman Ansari, the country's strong and courageous religious scholar, was martyred during Friday prayer in a brutal attack by enemies of Islam and the country.

From the pulpit of the Eidgah Mosque in Herat, Shaheed Maulana Mujib Ur Rahman Ansari consistently defended the truth. Despite numerous challenging circumstances and threats, he used his language to speak the truth.

In addition to strongly condemning this sad and painful incident and offering my deepest condolences to his family, relatives, friends, and all the countrymen, I ask Allah Almighty to grant him Jannat al-Firdous.

The enemies of Islam and the truth want to silence the pulpit of the truth and disturb the security of the people with their ineffective actions; but the IEA will smash the enemies of our religion and country, and the perpetrators behind this incident will be punished for their heinous act.
