During his visit to Baghlan province, Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, toured the flood-impacted regions earlier today to assess the extent of the damage. Following his inspection of the affected areas, Deputy PM Mullah Baradar Akhund convened with provincial officials and representatives from designated task forces. Emphasizing the urgent need for action, he issued directives aimed at expediting relief efforts, including the provision of essential supplies such as food, medication, and temporary shelter to displaced individuals in flood-stricken zones. Expressing concern over the severity of damage witnessed firsthand in the districts, Deputy PM Mullah Baradar Akhund underscored the importance of prompt and coordinated interventions by relevant agencies to address the pressing needs of affected communities.
