National Procurement Commission Approves 22 Projects Worth 3.5 Billion Afghanis
Chaired by the Deputy PM for Economic Affairs, Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, the regular meeting of the National Procurement Commission was held today, October 25, 2025. A total of 35 projects were presented for approval during the session.
Out of these, 22 projects valued at 3.5 billion Afghanis were approved following a series of amendments to 8 of them, while 5 projects were returned due to issues in the procurement process.
The approved projects include the construction of retaining walls, canals, inter-district roads in several provinces, the dormitory building of the Maidan Wardak University, and the completion of pending works related to electricity supply and distribution projects in various provinces.
The approved projects are financed by the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.
