Chaired by the Deputy PM for Economic Affairs, Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, the second follow-up meeting on the export of Afghan commercial goods—particularly dried and fresh fruits—through air cargo to foreign countries was held on November 4, 2025, at the Marmarin Palace, with the participation of relevant ministries and agencies’ officials.

At the beginning of the meeting, representatives from the concerned ministries and agencies presented reports on the assignments given during the first session. After hearing the reports, Ariana Afghan Airlines was instructed to transport export goods via air cargo at a rate of one U.S. dollar per kilogram and import goods at eighty cents per kilogram.

Additionally, the Ministries of Finance and Transport and Aviation were directed to provide a 90% reduction in service fees for Ariana Afghan Airlines.

Ariana Afghan Airlines was also instructed to purchase a cargo aircraft as soon as possible.
