محترم ملا عبدالغني برادر اخوند: علماء کرام دې خلکو ته د دیني مکلفیتونو ترڅنګ د اسلامي نظام او ملي ګټو ساتلو روحیه هم ورکړي

The Deputy PM for Economic Affairs, Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, attended the turban-tying (graduation) ceremony of Jamia Fath al-Uloom Kabul today, December 17, 2025. He stated that madrasas are the sacred foundations of religious knowledge, jihad, Prophetic morals, spiritual and intellectual training, and the Islamic movement in Islamic societies. He called on respected scholars to soften the language of sermons and the pulpit and, alongside religious obligations, to instill in the people the spirit of safeguarding the Islamic system and national interests.

The Deputy PM added that, in Afghanistan, the Islamic narrative of the obligation of sacred jihad emerged in madrasas, spread to villages and cities, and transformed into action and resistance that defeated major infidel forces.

He emphasized the important role of madrasas in the intellectual reform of society, the elimination of un-Islamic cultures, and the preservation of Islamic narratives, stressing that madrasas must remain steadfast on their original path under all circumstances.

Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund congratulated the graduating memorizers of the Qur’an from Jamia Fath al-Uloom Kabul and their families, and expressed hope that they would act upon their knowledge, teach it to others, and conduct themselves with the people within the framework of Prophetic ethics.
