Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund Inaugurated the Manufacturing Factory Complex

Today, July 21, 2025, the Deputy PM for Economic Affairs, Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, inaugurated a complex of several manufacturing factories at the National Development Corporation.
The Deputy PM for Economic Affairs described the reactivation of this factory complex as a fundamental step toward the growth and development of domestic products and industries. He added that this initiative would reduce Afghanistan’s reliance on foreign products and significantly contribute to strengthening and expanding the domestic industry.
Deputy PM Mullah Baradar Akhund stated that this manufacturing factory complex would create employment opportunities for many citizens, offer products at lower prices compared to regional and international markets, and play an effective role in strengthening the country’s national economy. He once again called on all investors and businessmen to come and invest in Afghanistan. According to him, a favorable environment has now been established in Afghanistan for all types of large, medium, and small-scale investments.
In conclusion, Deputy PM Mullah Baradar Akhund thanked the officials of the National Development Corporation for reactivating these manufacturing factories after a 60-year hiatus and firmly urged them to provide quality products to the citizens.
It is worth mentioning that this manufacturing factory complex currently produces 105 types of products, including machinery and agricultural tools for the Qosh Tepa agricultural complexes, machinery for industrial and small-scale factories, transport vehicles, metal components, electrical equipment, various spare parts, and components for canal and dam gates—some of which were also displayed for exhibition.
