Following a comprehensive discussion and with due consideration of the Ministry of Water and Energy's inputs, the Fish Farming Sector Development Plan was deemed endorsable. According to the plan, 7,700 fish farms will be established across the country. The plan has been referred to the Economic Commission for final decision-making.
The meeting also included a discussion on the Agriculture and Livestock Sector Development Policy. After thorough deliberation, officials from the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation, and Livestock were instructed to incorporate the comments of the Ministry of Water and Energy into the policy and present its finalized version at the next session of the Technical Committee.
