Discussion Held on Several Investment Proposals
The regular meeting of the Inter-Ministerial Investment Committee was convened on April 7, 2026, at the Marmarin Palace. During the session, proposals were presented for discussion, including: the construction of a commercial market in District 1 of Kabul city; the establishment of a modern waste-to-energy plant in Kabul for electricity generation through waste incineration and processing; and the assembly and gradual production of tractors and agricultural machinery in Kandahar, Herat, and Balkh provinces.
Following deliberations, the aforementioned proposals were referred to the relevant authorities for technical and economic assessments. The respective institutions were instructed to submit their reports to the Inter-Ministerial Investment Committee within the specified timelines.
