The regular meeting of the Inter-Ministerial Investment Committee was held at the Marmarin Palace on July 21, 2026.

During the meeting, a proposal submitted by the private sector for solar power generation in six provinces of the country—Uruzgan, Daikundi, Ghor, Zabul, Paktika, and Farah—was presented for discussion. Following comprehensive discussions, it was decided that Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat should thoroughly review the proposal with the relevant company within one month and submit its report to the Inter-Ministerial Investment Committee.

The meeting also reviewed a report by the Ministry of Public Works regarding a private-sector proposal for the expansion of the Naibabad Substation and the construction of a logistics center in Mazar-e-Sharif. Following discussions, it was decided that the relevant entities should conduct a comparative assessment of the submitted proposal and share the findings with the Inter-Ministerial Investment Committee.
