Priorities of the Technical and Vocational Education and Training Authority Shared with Donors

Under the leadership of the Public Relations Directorate of the Office of the Deputy PM for Economic Affairs, the first meeting to share the priorities of Afghanistan’s sectoral institutions was held on August 11, 2026, at the Marmarin Palace with representatives of the United Nations, international organizations, donors, and development partners.
During the meeting, the priorities of the Technical and Vocational Education and Training Authority of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan were shared with donors. These priorities cover infrastructure and equipment, educational programs, development, and capacity building. They have been identified based on the actual needs of Afghans so that future assistance and development cooperation can, to the greatest extent possible, be organized and coordinated within the framework of these priorities.
Sharing the priorities of the Islamic Emirate’s sectoral institutions with donors will help align priorities with resources, assistance with needs, and development with tangible outcomes.
Representatives of donor organizations considered the sharing of the Islamic Emirate’s sectoral priorities highly important and stated that it would enable them to better organize and implement their future activities.
It is worth noting that, in the future, the Public Relations Directorate of the Office of the Deputy PM for Economic Affairs will gradually share the priorities of the Islamic Emirate’s 13 sectoral institutions with donors.
