Plans for Commercial Markets in Qowaye Markaz and Tollgate Complex in Pole-Charkhi Approved

The regular session of the Inter-ministerial Investment Committee convened at Marmarin Palace, engaging in a comprehensive discussion on the presented investment plans outlined in the agenda. During the meeting, the committee delved into the report evaluating the proposal for a Tollgate complex in Pol-e-Charkhi, Kabul, presented by the private sector. Similarly, the report scrutinizing the construction plan for a commercial center in Qowa-e-Markaz, Kabul, underwent discussion, and the plan was subsequently referred to the Economic Commission for approval. The private sector also unveiled a proposal for constructing highway stops in Mohmand Dara, Nangarhar, Khanjan, Baghlan, and Jabal Saraj, Parwan. Following thorough deliberation, representatives from the Ministry of Transport and Aviation were tasked with reviewing the financial and economic aspects of the project in one of the mentioned districts. Additionally, they were assigned to conduct meetings with the presenting company to discuss contract timelines, presenting the report to the committee. Furthermore, the Inter-ministerial Investment Committee addressed proposals for a cancer treatment complex in Kabul city and a commercial center in the first district of Jalalabad city. After detailed discussions, designated committees were instructed to conduct follow-up meetings with the respective companies presenting the projects. The focus of these meetings will be on the financial and economic aspects of the projects, as well as the timing of the contracts. A comprehensive report is expected to be submitted to the committee within the next two weeks.
