During the regular meeting of the Inter-ministerial Investment Committee on January 30 of this year, several investment projects from both foreign and domestic private companies were discussed according to the agenda. Among these was a proposal to install electronic scanners in 12 ports across the country by a private company. Following an extensive discussion and consideration of the committee's opinions, the project was forwarded to the Economic Commission for final approval. In the same meeting, representatives from the Ministry of Transport and Aviation presented a report evaluating the construction of a park by the private sector in the Mohmandara district of Nangarhar province, which was also referred to the Economic Commission for approval. Additionally, after thorough discussions on the remaining projects, specific tasks were assigned to designated committees. These committees are responsible for evaluating the financial, economic, and technical aspects of the projects in collaboration with the presenting companies. They are expected to hold meetings, consider the committee's feedback, and submit their reports to the committee by the specified deadlines.
