Approval Granted for Several Electricity Generation Projects

The periodic meeting of the Technical Committee of the Economic Commission was held on January 27, 2025, at Marmarin Palace. The agenda of this meeting included the feasibility studies for the construction of electricity dams in the Mandol district of Nuristan province and the Kalagush area of Nurgram district in the same province. Additionally, the project for providing electricity to 13 villages in the Pul-e-Khumri district of Baghlan province was also discussed.

After comprehensive deliberations, these projects were approved in principle and referred to the Economic Commission for final decision-making.
