Meeting of the Inter-ministerial Investment Committee Held

The regular meeting of the Inter-ministerial Investment Committee was held on August 11, 2026, at the Marmarin Palace. During the meeting, a proposal by the private sector to construct a commercial market on land belonging to Pashtany Bank in Maimana, the capital of Faryab Province, was presented for discussion. Following deliberations, an assigned committee was tasked with conducting a comprehensive assessment of the proposal, taking all relevant aspects into consideration, and submitting its report to the Inter-ministerial Investment Committee.
The meeting also discussed a proposal for the construction of a commercial, sports, recreational, and tourism complex in Faizabad, the capital of Badakhshan Province. It was decided that, after the proposal is finalized by the local administration, the presenting company should resubmit it to the Inter-ministerial Investment Committee.
