Deputy PM for Economic Affairs Meets UK Special Representative for Afghanistan
The Deputy PM for Economic Affairs, Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, met with the United Kingdom’s Special Representative for Afghanistan, Richard Lindsay, in his office. During the meeting, discussions focused on strengthening coordination and joint cooperation between Afghanistan and the international community, as well as the continuation of humanitarian assistance from the UK government and its people to the Afghan population.
The Deputy PM for Economic Affairs stated that Afghanistan’s economic situation has significantly improved compared to the past, and economic cooperation with the region and neighboring countries has expanded.
The UK Special Representative for Afghanistan, Mr. Lindsay, expressed his condolences regarding the Afghan citizens who were martyred in recent attacks by the Pakistani regime. He affirmed that the UK government and its people will continue their assistance to the Afghan people.
