On August 16, 2024, the Afghanistan-Uzbekistan Trade Forum was officially inaugurated by the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, and Uzbekistan's Prime Minister, Abdullah Aripov. The event took place at the Afghanistan International Exhibition Center, with the attendance of government officials and private sector representatives from both nations. The forum features a diverse array of Uzbek products, including vehicles, fire trucks, tractors, buses, and a variety of industrial goods. The exhibition is set to run for three days.
