The regular meeting of the Inter-Ministerial Investment Committee was held today, Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at the Marmarin Palace. During the meeting, the plan for the rehabilitation of degraded land along the Amu River was presented for discussion. After a comprehensive evaluation, it was approved in principle. According to this plan, the degraded land will first be rehabilitated, after which agricultural and livestock farms, as well as processing factories, will be established there. These are expected to produce large quantities of high-quality products and create employment opportunities for thousands of citizens.
Additionally, during the meeting, a proposal for the construction of a commercial and residential complex in District 16 of Kabul city was also discussed. After discussion, the Kabul Municipality was assigned the task of determining the land ownership and ownership plan. If the land is found suitable for investment, technical discussions should be conducted with the company that submitted the proposal, and a report should then be presented to the Inter-Ministerial Investment Committee.
Furthermore, the Inter-Ministerial Investment Committee also discussed the designation of organized locations for car dealerships in Kabul city. A committee composed of representatives from Kabul Municipality and relevant institutions was assigned to identify suitable locations for car dealerships in several areas of Kabul city, prepare a plan for them, and share it with the Inter-Ministerial Investment Committee.
