2644 of the beggars that were collected were female, and after evaluation, 748 of them were determined to be deserving, while 1896 others were found to be professional beggars. After evaluation, 80 of the 329 males were found to be deserving, and 249 of them were professional beggars. 705 of them are children, of which 277 are deserving and 402 are professional beggars. Among the deserving beggar children, there are 26 unaccompanied children who were sent to a care and training center by the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs.

It is worth mentioning that the process of cash assistance has been started by the Afghan Red Crescent Society (ARCS) for all deserving beggars and efforts are being made by the beggar collection committee to provide cash and other assistance to them from other related organizations.
