The regular meeting of the Economic Commission’s technical committee was held at Marmarin Palace, where discussions were conducted as per the agenda on the presented topics. The national policy for self-sufficiency in the poultry sector was introduced for discussion in this session. After a comprehensive evaluation, it was approved by the technical committee with consideration of the proposed amendments. The implementation of this policy is expected to lead Afghanistan to full self-sufficiency in the poultry sector, directly and indirectly creating employment opportunities for around 700,000 people.

Additionally, a report was presented in this meeting regarding the cold storage facilities constructed or under reconstruction in various provinces of the country during the solar years 1402 and 1403 by the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation, and Livestock. These topics were referred to the Economic Commission for final decision-making.
