Provisional Approval Granted for Construction of Tir Park in Baghlan and a Commercial Market in Mazar-e-Sharif

The Inter-Ministerial Investment Committee held its periodic meeting on November 26, 2024 at Marmarin Palace. According to the agenda, the technical assessment reports for two proposed projects were presented: the construction of Tir Park in Khenjan District of Baghlan Province and the development of a commercial market on the Ministry of Information and Culture’s land in Mazar-e-Sharif City.

Following the presentations, provisional approval was granted for the projects: the construction of Tir Park in Khenjan District with an investment of approximately 200 million Afghanis, and the construction of a commercial market in Mazar-e-Sharif City with an investment of 80 million Afghanis on the Ministry of Information and Culture's land.

Additionally, the committee discussed proposals for other significant projects, including a 100-megawatt solar power plant in Pul-e-Alam City, Logar Province; a 50-megawatt solar power plant in Deh Sabz District, Kabul Province; and the construction of a commercial market in the Fourth District of Jalalabad City. Separate committees were formed to conduct comprehensive evaluations of these proposals and were instructed to submit their reports to the Inter-Ministerial Investment Committee within the designated deadlines.
