Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund Engages with Baghlan Authorities

Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund convened a meeting with provincial officials, rescue teams, and humanitarian organizations' representatives in Baghlan province on May 12.  In this session, Deputy PM Mullah Baradar Akhund provided directives to local authorities and aid agencies representatives concerning urgent assistance for the families affected by the recent incident in Baghlan. His instructions encompassed immediate medical care for the injured, provision of essential supplies including food and temporary shelter.  Following his arrival in Baghlan Province the previous night, Deputy PM Baradar Akhund addressed local officials, affirming the efforts of the High Commission for Disaster Management of the Islamic Emirate in orchestrating rescue operations, medical aid provision, emergency food distribution, temporary shelter arrangements, as well as assistance collection and burial arrangements.
