Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, convened with the members of the Ulema Council in Baghlan province during his visit.

He extended gratitude to the leadership for their swift response to the recent floods, emphasizing their support for affected individuals and prompt aid delivery, reaffirming Baghlan Province's solidarity with the government. Deputy PM Mullah Baradar Akhund conveyed condolences for the losses suffered by the people of Baghlan due to the floods, expressing sympathy for the victims and wishing swift recovery for the injured. He underscored the government's duty to provide support during such crises, emphasizing their role as servants rather than rulers.
