The Economic Commission, headed by the First Deputy Prime Minister, Mullah Abdul Ghani Beradar Akhund, had instructed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) to give the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) a deadline for the finalization of contract about organizing Kabul Airport.

In order to grant emergency visa facilities at the Kabul Airport for foreign investors, the Economic Commission also instructed the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Interior, Trade and Industry, and the Directorate General of Intelligence to create a special joint desk to provide these services.

After detailed discussions at the regular meeting of the Economic Commission, a delegation led by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry was tasked to travel to Russia for discussing the shortage of wheat and flour in Afghanistan and the consequent rise in their prices.
