On May 22, the delegation, headed by Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund and accompanied by Foreign Minister Maulvi Amir Khan Mutaqi, participated in the requiem for President Seyed Ebrahim Raisi and Foreign Minister Hussain Amir Abdullahiyan of Iran.During their visit, the Afghan delegation also met with Iran's new Acting President, Dr. Mohammad Mokhbar, Foreign Minister Ali Baqeri, and the Deputy Chief of the Army. They extended their condolences and sympathies to the Iranian government officials and the people on behalf of the Afghan nation.
