A high-ranking delegation of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, led by the Deputy PM for Economic Affairs, Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, departed for the Republic of Azerbaijan earlier today upon the official invitation of the host country to participate in the 17th Summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO).

During the visit, Deputy PM Mullah Baradar Akhund is scheduled to attend and deliver a speech at the plenary session of the 17th ECO Summit. Additionally, he will hold meetings with several Azerbaijani officials to discuss the expansion of bilateral relations in various sectors.

The 17th Summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization will be hosted by the Republic of Azerbaijan on July 3rd and 4th, with the participation of presidents and senior officials from ECO member states.
