The Meeting Of The Economic Commission Took Place In Marmarin Palace Under The Leadership Of Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund

The special meeting of the Economic Commission was convened at Marmara Palace, led by the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, where in several pressing issues were addressed according to the pre-arranged agenda.The Economic Commission resolved that the Deputy PM's office should collaborate with the Ministry of Finance and other relevant departments to deliberate on funding avenues for the completion of Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat's proposed projects. These projects comprise extending the electricity transmission line of 500 Kilovolt from Shabarghan to Dasht-e-Alwan, and from Dasht-e-Alwan to Arghandi Kabul, as well as erecting substations in Alwan Desert and Arghandi. The outcome should be presented to the Deputy PM's office with in ten days, in order to facilitate the prompt execution of the project with a view to completing it before the onset of the next winter season. Additionally, a committee comprising the Ministries of Economy, Housing and Urban Development, Information and Culture, the National Development Corporation, Kabul Municipality and the Office of the Deputy PM for Economic Affairs was established to examine the principles of urban design in the first zone of Kabul city, particularly the area from Chowk to Pashton Market. The committee should present its report to the Economic Commission. Furthermore, a committee led by the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation, and Livestock, and made up of the Ministries of Water and Energy, and Industry and Commerce was formed to evaluate the aspects of the case relating to 1000 acres of barren land in Imam Sahib District of Kunduz Province. The committee would visit the area, take into consideration the demands of the people, and submit its views to the Economic Commission regarding the lease of land and the duration of the contract. At the end of the meeting, the committee designated to oversee the accounts of the eight development councils of Balkh province was tasked with disbursing the guarantees of said councils in the ministries and other departments, as well as accounting for the remaining government goods with these councils.
