The National Procurement Commission was established based on the 202nd decree of His Excellency Amir-ul-Mumineen Sheikh-ul-Hadith Hibatullah Akhundzadah.The commission, led by Hajji Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, aims to maintain transparency, offer efficient services; resolve and coordinate issues with procurement. The Acting Ministers of Finance and Economy, the Head of The Administrative Office, and the acting minister of the sectoral ministry based on the project are the members of the commission. The first meeting of the commission will take place on December 13.
