The National Procurement Commission, chaired by Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, has greenlit a slew of projects totaling approximately 11 billion Afghanis. Today's session at Marmarin Palace saw 29 projects on the docket, with 24 receiving approval, four rejected, and one referred to a special committee for further scrutiny ahead of the next meeting. Noteworthy among the approved initiatives are the finalization of Kabul-Kandahar highway reconstruction, rehabilitation of Kunar-Nuristan road segments, various undertakings with Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat across provinces, and the procurement of essentials for national defense forces, promising job creation for numerous citizens.
