The regular meeting of the Technical Committee of the Economic Commission was held on January 6, 2025 at Marmarin Palace. As per the agenda, several critical topics were discussed during the session. The presented topics included the maintenance and monitoring of water and electricity dams in the country, the electricity purchase agreement between Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat and Chalk Company related to the TAP project, the next phases of the TAP project, and the proposal to establish a second administrative unit under the Badakhshan Electricity Directorate.

After comprehensive discussions, committees composed of representatives from relevant ministries and agencies were tasked with conducting in-depth technical assessments of the presented topics. These committees are expected to share their findings and reports with the Technical Committee of the Economic Commission.
