The proposals for the construction of commercial markets in Sar-e-Pul and Jowzjan provinces were deemed approvable.
The regular meeting of the Inter-Ministerial Investment Committee was held on February 17, 2026 at the Marmarin Palace. During the meeting, the report of the designated committee regarding the construction of a commercial market on municipality land in Gosfandi District of Sar-e-Pul Province, based on a Sharia-compliant (Istisna) contract, was presented. According to the report, the proposal was considered eligible for approval. Under this project, the commercial market will consist of two floors and 148 shops.
Likewise, the meeting reviewed the report of the designated committee concerning the construction of a commercial market on municipality land in the Third District of the capital of Jowzjan Province. Based on the report, this proposal was also deemed approvable. According to the plan, the commercial market will have five floors and 79 shops.
Furthermore, during the meeting, a proposal to install screens on urban taxi vehicles for the dissemination of commercial, religious, social, and official Emirate announcements was also presented for discussion. Following deliberations, the designated committee was assigned the task of thoroughly evaluating all aspects of the proposal and submitting its report to the Inter-Ministerial Investment Committee on the specified date.
