When Mullah Abdul Ghani Beradar Akhund visited the UAE on May 16, he called on UAE officials to release Afghan prisoners. They also promised and started working on the process.

It was planned that 75 of these Afghan prisoners would be transferred on a charter plane today and handed over to the IEA ​​in Kabul. However, the operation was suspended due to a snag and will be carried out right after Eid, and the prisoners, whose cases have been completed, will be transferred to Afghanistan. 

The leadership of the IEA is always concerned with the well-being of Afghans, striving for Afghans to return home and live a life of dignity and to ensure their well-being at home and abroad.
