The Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, Hajji Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, attended the sixth meeting of the Financial Stability Committee of Da Afghanistan Bank today and addressed the shareholders of the bank. Mr. Baradar Akhund said in his speech that after a long time Afghanistan has turned out to be a safe and secure country based on Islamic and Afghan values. The only hope of the government is to provide a comfortable life for Afghans. The DPMEA added that the problems of banks should be solved and asked members of the Financial Stability Committee to share their advice with him. Mr. Baradar Akhund urged all those shareholders having left Afghanistan to return by assuring them of all kinds of safety and considered their coordination and cooperation necessary with the banking sector.In the end, Mr. Baradar Akhund deemed the meeting important and hoped that the continuation of such meetings would solve the problems in the country's financial and banking sectors. It should be noted that the Financial Stability Committee was established for the better coordination and management of possible financial crises in the country.
