Hajji Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund: We are doing everything in our power to help the farmers

Hajji Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, the Deputy PM for Economic Affairs, participated and delivered his speech at the opening ceremony of the 27th autumn exhibition of agricultural products of the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock.

During his speech, Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund said that more than 70% of the people of Afghanistan are engaged in agriculture and the daily lives of most of them are dependent on the agricultural economy. The sustenance of the cities of Afghanistan is provided by the efforts and hard work of these farmers, which is of great importance to our urban life.

The Deputy PM for Economic Affairs added that, as a government, we should focus on the mechanization of Afghanistan's agriculture. We request all traders to contribute to providing these facilities to the farmers.

In addition, Hajji Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund said: "The Ministry of Agriculture should provide farmers with improved seeds in order to boost their production. I want the private sector to concentrate on the production of high-quality agricultural medicines and, at the very least, import suitable agricultural medicines to Afghanistan in order to protect the harvests of farmers and gardeners from natural disasters. "

The Deputy PM for Economic Affairs also added that Allah has blessed us with a rich country. Our efforts must make Afghanistan self-sufficient in every area. This nation is very tired and nothing basic has been done for it yet. I call on all those responsible to focus on their responsibilities and work for the development of Afghanistan.
