The First Deputy Prime Minister of the IEA met with representatives of the Afghan private sector in his office yesterday. Mr. Mullah Beradar Akhund welcomed the businessmen and artisans and assured them of the full support of the Islamic Emirate. On behalf of the traders and industrialists, Mr. Mohammad Younis Mohmand, Mr. Khan Jan Alakozai, Mr. Burhan and Mr. Ismatullah Wardak thanked the IEA for the customs and transit facilities established in the field of trade and industry. They also shared their problems with the banking system, money transfer and trade in detail. After listening to the concerns and suggestions of businessmen and industrialists, Mullah Beradar Akhund assured the participants of the necessary cooperation from the IEA in resolving the issues related to the private sector and directed the relevant officials present in the meeting to take serious steps to solve the problems of traders.
