Hajji Mullah Abdul Ghani Beradar Akhund met with a number of national investors and businessmen in his office today. These investors and businessmen said that they are ready to import and process oil and liquid gas into Afghanistan, extract coal and export it to Iran and Arab countries through Herat. They added that they want to invest in the standardization and reconstruction of oil pumps by the state-owned Oil and Gas Company in all provinces, as well as in the modernization of oil storage facilities at Kabul Airport. The Deputy PM for Economic Affairs praised the actions of these national investors and businessmen, assured them of any kind of cooperation, and directed all relevant institutions to take serious measures to facilitate these efforts so that Afghanistan's economic situation improves and job opportunities are made available to our countrymen.
