The 22nd Meeting of the Economic Commission was held

Mullah Abdul Ghani Beradar Akhund, Deputy PM for Economic Affairs, chaired 22nd meeting of the Economic Commission in which they discussed various issues in detail. In the commission a joint committee of representatives from the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Water and Energy, Da Afghanistan Bank (DAB), and the people of Farah province was established and tasked to take a closer look at the remaining work of Bakhshabad Dam in Farah, the committee was requested to report their findings to the next session of the Economic Commission. The meeting of the Economic Commission also directed the representatives from the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, and Da Afghanistan Bank (DAB) to jointly work with the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum and review the "Mining Law". According to this law the contracts will be given to those companies which have both the financial capabilities, and technical capacities for mines extraction.
