Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, inaugurated the commencement of the reconstruction project for Shahar-e-Naw Park in Kabul City. Covering an extensive area of 9.9 hectares, Shahar-e-Naw Park is undergoing a comprehensive renovation that is set to span a period of 3 years. The private sector has committed an impressive investment of 1.2 billion Afghanis to revitalize this space. The ambitious redevelopment plan encompasses several exciting additions, including an underground shopping mall, a commercial complex situated along the park's perimeter, a dedicated shopping center catering to women, a state-of-the-art futsal stadium, various entertainment facilities, top-notch restaurants, a mosque, a swimming pool, and ample parking space for vehicles. It is expected that this multifaceted project will generate substantial employment opportunities, both directly and indirectly, benefiting hundreds of individuals throughout its construction phase.
