Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, convened with flood-stricken individuals from Baraki and Nahrin districts during his visit to Baghlan province. Accompanied by Mullah Nooruddin Torabi, Vice President of the Afghan Red Crescent Society, and several other dignitaries, he assessed the aftermath of the floods and extended aid to affected families. During the visit, Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund confirmed that comprehensive data on casualties had been compiled by assessment teams. Immediate relief in the form of monetary assistance, food provisions, and clothing has been distributed to the families of those deceased, while medical care has been provided to the injured. Additionally, teams have commenced evaluating the extent of damage to residences, agricultural lands, water infrastructure, and livestock. Furthermore, Mullah Baradar Akhund affirmed that relief efforts extend beyond Baghlan province, with financial and food aid dispatched to flood-affected regions across the country. In a gesture of gratitude, residents of Baraki and Nahrin districts expressed appreciation to the Islamic Emirate for swift rescue operations and assistance to those stranded by the floods. They also submitted written accounts of their challenges and appeals for support to Deputy Prime Minister Mullah Baradar Akhund, who pledged to address their concerns promptly.
