Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, inspected the ongoing work on the weir for the Qosh Tepa Canal. He praised the efforts of the National Development Corporation in this initiative and instructed the corporation’s employees to complete the project with utmost precision and within the specified timeline. The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized the importance of the Qosh Tepa Canal in agriculture and water management, stating that the Islamic Emirate is fully committed to completing the project on time. It is worth noting that the construction of the weir for this national canal, as well as the work on the second phase, is currently progressing well under the supervision of Afghan engineers, providing thousands of employment opportunities.
