Organization of Islamic Cooperation: The international community has realized that the situation in Afghanistan has improved

Mullah Abdul Ghani Beradar Akhund, First Deputy Prime Minister, met with Tariq Ali Bakheet, Special Representative from Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) for Afghanistan. The two sides discussed humanitarian assistance, women's education, security, fight against corruption, and the launch of infrastructure projects in Afghanistan.

Mullah Abdul Ghani Beradar Akhund also welcomed the decision of the organization to open its embassy in Afghanistan.

The OIC Special Representative for Afghanistan said that the international community has now realized that serious steps have been taken against corruption in Afghanistan and the situation is improving day by day. He added that the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) considers Afghanistan as an important member country, and they will open a fund for humanitarian assistance to Afghans.
