TAPI Project: The practical work will begin in coming spring.

Mullah Abdul Ghani Beradar Akhund, First Deputy Prime Minister, met with the Executive Director of TAPI Project and talked to him about its launch. Mr. Mullah Sahib described the current situation in Afghanistan as a good opportunity for the launch of the TAPI project, adding that the IEA is fully prepared for the launch of the project and is ready for any kind of cooperation in this regard.

The Executive Director of the TAPI project, Mohammad Murad Aman said that the practical work of the project will start from Herat province next spring and in order to speed up the work, he wants to create qualified teams from both the countries. He added that the World Islamic Bank, the Asian Development Bank, as well as Russian, Chinese and some Arab banks are ready to invest in the TAPI project.

Mr. Murad said the TAP project would be implemented along with the TAPI project.
